M suits most codes. Choose Q or H when you add a logo.
    Logo

A logo covers part of the code, so error correction switches to H. Keep logos small and simple.

Tips for a QR code that always scans

    • Dark on light. Keep a strong contrast between the code and its background.
    • Leave a border. A quiet zone of about 4 modules helps cameras find the code.
    • Print it big enough. About 2.5 cm wide is a safe minimum for short links.
    • Test before printing. Scan it with two different phones. These codes are static and cannot be edited later.
